ULTRA Academics
Year 3 – ULTRA is the leadership and integration year of the Nazarene Youth Missions Academy, where students move from participation to ownership. Through sustained rhythms of prayer, worship, and disciplined spiritual formation, and advanced academic study in Theology of Suffering, Missionary Life, History of Missions, Missionary Anthropology, Biblical Foundations of Missions in the New Testament, and Missionary Project development, students are challenged to think and lead cross-culturally. Responsibility increases within House teams as they mentor younger students, carry strategic leadership roles, and begin designing and planning a real missionary project. Formation and function converge as they prepare for deployment, learning that mission requires resilience, theological depth, cultural intelligence, and sacrificial endurance. ULTRA does not merely prepare students to go—it prepares them to lead, to persevere, and to carry the Gospel with maturity, courage, and lifelong faithfulness.
