Pastor Jessie continues the Formed by Christ journey by leading the church into Paul’s teaching that every believer has been entrusted with gifts to strengthen the body of Christ, reminding believers that the purpose of gathered worship is not individual recognition but the edification of the entire church. In this message, the congregation is challenged to move beyond being spectators and embrace their God-given role in building up one another, recognizing that every contribution should be exercised with humility, self-control, and a desire to promote unity. By walking through Paul’s instruction concerning participation in worship, believers are encouraged to faithfully use their spiritual gifts, serve with the good of others in mind, and cultivate a spirit of peace within the body of Christ—understanding that the church is strongest when every member faithfully contributes to the growth of the whole body—through the First Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians, Chapter 14, Verses 26–33.
